THE SECRET EXPLORER with registered office in Italy at Largo Giovanni Sammarruco 5/B – Otranto (LE), (hereafter “Controller”), in compliance with Art. 13 of the EU Regulation 2016/679 – General Data Protection Regulation (hereafter “GDPR”), informs you about the processing of your personal data, which is collected with the solely purpose of carrying out pre-contractual and/or contractual agreements or to comply with legal obligations.

  1. Purposes of data processing and legal basis of the processing

Your personal data will be collected and used for the following purposes:

 

  • Carrying out pre-contractual/contractual measurements or compliance with legal obligations
    • Your data will be collected directly from the website in the Contacts section with the purpose of answering to any inquiries you may have related to the Controller’s business activity or to comply with legal obligations.
    • In the Contacts section, you will be asked to share some mandatory personal information (such as name and surname, company name, email address, telephone number) and some optional information to allow us to contact you and/or to answer your inquiries.
    • This data will be held in our database for informative or pre-contractual purposes.
    • The data will be appropriate, relevant and limited to what is necessary, accurate and if needed, they will be amended to fit the purposes for which they were processed.
    • The Controller shall use such data to send you communications via email or via direct phone calls or postal mail in case you freely decide to provide such information when asked to. At any time you may choose not to receive further communications via phone calls, email or postal mail, in accordance with Art. 7 of GDPR.
    • The legal basis of personal data processing, in compliance with Articles 1.1.1., 1.1.2., 1.1.3., 1.1.4., 1.1.5., is the execution of a contract which the data subject is a party of said contract as per Art. 6.1 point (f) of the GDPR.

 

  1. Collection of data and consequences of possible refusal
    • In relation to the personal data processing referred to as per Art. 1.1., the data collection is mandatory to allow us to give you information related to our company’s economic activity, for pre-contractual and/or contractual matters. If you refuse to supply your personal data, we will not be able to fulfil your requests or pre-contractual obligations.

 

  1. Principles of data processing
    • Personal data will be processed according to the principles of lawfulness, fairness and transparency. The processing of your data may also be carried out through automated procedures designed to store, manage and send them and it will be done through appropriate technical and organizational procedures, to ensure safety, confidentiality, integrity, availability and resilience of processing systems and services, through appropriate procedures aimed at avoiding the risk of loss, or unauthorized access to personal data.
    • Data will be stored in the platform managed by both the Controller and its provider, with servers located in Italy and/or the EU.

Your personal data will be managed by the Controller’s employees and co-workers, as subjects

authorised to processing. Moreover, those data will be processed by companies trusted by and

who work for the Controller, in particular:

  • third-party companies who manage data for the Controller and who are authorised to carry

out advisory consults or services.

  • analytics and marketing research specialised companies.

Your personal data will not be shared with other independent third-party companies’ owners or

Personal information collected for the purposes mentioned in Art. 1.1. will be stored until you decide to exercise your right according to Art. 7.

    • In relation to the processing of your personal data carried out by the Controller, you may exercise your rights in compliance with Articles 15 to 20 of the GDPR and, in particular, you can ask the Controller for access to and/or rectification and/or erasure and/or objection and/or restriction of processing of your personal data. Without prejudice to any administrative or judicial remedy, you shall have the right to lodge a complaint to the European Data Protection Supervisor.
    • As per Art. 20 of the GDPR, you may exercise, both the mentioned rights along with data portability rights. In the latter, you shall have the right to request to the Data Controller all data concerning you in a structured commonly used and machine-readable format and, subsequently, the right to transmit the data to another controller without hindrance from the controller whom the personal data has been provided.

The website uses cookies only to guarantee and help browsing and use of the website and to collect information about the website’s views. No profiling cookies are used or will be used in any way, and so in relation to the installation of third-party cookies through the website that may be used independently by them for profiling purposes. No users’ personal data is intentionally acquired by the website. No cookies are used to transmit personal information, no persistent cookies of any kind are used, that is users’ tracking systems. The use of cookies (that are not permanently stored on the user’s computer and vanish after the ending of the browsing session) is strictly limited to the transmission of browsing identifiers (composed of casual numbers generated by the server) that are necessary to allow a safe and efficient exploring of the website.
